The Toketee area is the site of Toketee Falls, Toketee Lake Campground, Umpqua Hot Springs and Diamond Lake Ranger Station. The 0.4-mile hike to the falls has over 200 steps leading to an observation platform. The double-tiered Tokatee Falls drops a total of 120 feet over columnar basalt presenting a spectacular view of colors and textures. The Toketee Lake Campground has 32 campsites and a group reservation site. Visitors to the campground can access the North Umpqua Trail, Toketee Lake boat ramp, and fish for German Brown trout. The Umpqua Hot Springs is accessed by Trail #1444 which is 0.3 miles in length. At the Umpqua Hot Springs, visitors may relax in a 115-degree hot springs "tub."

This 30-40 foot cascade is only a short walk up Clearwater River. The falls cascade over moss-covered rocks and logs. It is a breath-taking and picture-perfect view. Visitors may camp and picnic at this area.

Enjoy a picnic and refreshing break from driving at the Whitehorse Falls picnic area and viewpoint. A new disabled-accessible walkway leads to a viewing platform that looks directly at the falls and pool below on the Clearwater River. The 15-foot-high waterfall is also visible from the parking area. Adjacent to the area is the 5-site Whitehorse Falls Campground.

Seven million years ago a river of lava averaging 150 feet deep poured into the ancient Rogue River Valley. The soils of the valley have been slowly eroding away leaving unique twin mesas, known as Upper and Lower Table Rocks, resting 800 feet above the existing valley floor. Today, you can view wildflowers and wildlife on outstanding hiking trails.

Diamond Lake is one of the largest US Forest Service recreation
areas in the country. Diamond Lake Resort, under special-use permit
with the Forest Service, is located on the lake which reflects the
Cascade Mountains of the Umpqua National Forest sitting at an
elevation of 5,182 feet. This popular year-round recreation area,
with resort, campgrounds, and RV Park, provides opportunities for
fishing, swimming, picnicking, sailing, waterskiing, hiking,
horseback-riding, and bicycling. Winter sports include cross-country
skiing and snowcat skiing, snowmobiling, and tubing on a nearby
hill. A Civilian-Conservation-Corps-era Visitor Center with
interpretive exhibits and sales items is located at Diamond Lake
